Our lifts are primarily conveyed by our own vehicles, but in busy periods we work with external haulage companies.

At present (2008), we have 13 vehicles at our disposal for conveying lifts. These include two small 3.5 tonne vehicles for conveying small trailer lifts, belt-driven cranes, trailer cranes and small scissor lifts. Three tractor units, one three-axled and two four-axled; in addition to which we have eight trucks/trailers. The eleven lorries convey basically the same type of lift, but the largest lifts have to be conveyed using a truck/trailer as they weigh almost 25 tonnes. We take great pains to keep our vehicles in tip-top, clean condition at all times. All vehicles are equipped with a winch so it is always possible to retrieve defective lifts, lifts that have become stuck or lifts that are broken down. Similarly, the eight vehicles are equipped with a filling tank so the lifts can always be refuelled for moving.

Four of the vehicles are deployed at our Roskilde Division and nine at our Odense Division. Transport and logistics are managed from Odense, where our equipment includes a GPS system to monitor the transportation, enabling us to pinpoint our vehicles at all times.

When the lifts are delivered, they are often accompanied by lift operating instructions. For this reason, it is important that we use the same drivers all the time, which is also true whenever we employ the services of an external haulage company
